Choosing your wedding gown is a once in a lifetime occasion, so we at Brides of Rochdale will offer you a friendly, professional service, with the added benefit of our in house fitting and alteration service.
In our downstairs showroom we have on display ranges from our most popular companies; we also continuously receive new styles of Bridal Gowns throughout the year. Bridal gowns range from £145.00 up to £1000.00. We also stock a wide range of reduced and discontinued gowns in a variety of sizes.
In addition to Bridal Gowns we have accessories to compliment all styles; we also have a good selection of bridesmaid and flower girl dresses in many colours.
Colours are mainstream in this years collections, along with traditional ivory or white. We pride ourselves in sourcing high quality alternative and innovative gowns.
Attention to detail is also important to us, so our gowns make a statement with the use of colour, beading, and embellishment. To put the finishing touch to your gown we have veils, tiaras and jewellery to complement your look on your special day.
There is a maximum charge for alterations to a full price bridal gown bought from us, no matter how many times you require the gown altering. There is also a maximum alteration charge for Bridesmaid gowns bought from us. Alterations to dresses bought elsewhere are charged according to the work required.
Underskirts can be hired or bought (a returnable deposit of £40.00 is required for hires).
We can dry clean your Bridal gown or Bridesmaid dress - please call for current price.
A 50% deposit will hold any gown. Full payment for the gowns is required when you come for your first fitting, which can start six weeks prior to your wedding date. Any alteration costs can be paid after all the fittings have taken place. All costs must be paid before a dress can be taken away.
In our upstairs rooms, bridesmaid gowns are available from Romantica, and Mark Lesley.
We also have a large selection of reduced, ex-hire, and discontinued gowns available in various colours and sizes at bargain prices.We also usually have a selection of "Preloved" dresses for sale on behalf of the owners.
Communion dresses arrive each year in approximately January/February; we endeavour to ensure that no other child from the same school has the same dress, if bought from us.
