At Brides of Rochdale all alterations are done in-house; we do not send our dresses to other companies; this often intricate work is done entirely in-house by our own experienced machinists. We have industrial standard sewing and overlocking machines, and a steam press. Please see the "About Us" page for more details.

There is a maximum charge for alterations to a full price bridal gown bought from us, no matter how many times you require the gown altering. There is also a maximum alteration charge for Bridesmaid gowns bought from us. Dresses bought elsewhere are charged according to the work required.

We can undertake bespoke customisation of the dress of your choice, to give it that unique look.  Please ask about this service, and for prices.

We also do alterations on any garments (i.e. other than bridal wear)  at competitive prices; please enquire for details.  Please enquire with your requirements for specific prices.
